100% Renewable Electricity Commitment by 2030

ANZ has commited to powering its operations with 100% renewable electricity by 2025. It is a member of the RE100 initiative.

Power Purchase Agreement

ANZ has contracted to secure renewable energy from the Murra Warra wind farm as part of a consortium of companies and organisations. The energy from this facility will produce enough electricity to power approximately 220,000 homes.

On-site Solar

ANZ’s Melbourne headquarters has 1000 solar panels installed on-top of its roof. It is planning further roll out of on-site solar across its operations.

ANZ ranked #137 on the list of the largest electricity users in Australia in 2018-19.
